Terms of purchase and use

The service
Idle MU is a private MU Online server, run independently. We are not affiliated with Webzen Inc., owner of the MU Online trademark. Playing is free; the shop is optional.
Your account
The same account works for the site and the game. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for whatever is done with your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and let us know.
Diamonds
Diamonds are usage credit inside Idle MU. They are not money, earn no interest, can't be moved from one account to another and are not converted back into money — except in the withdrawal case described below.
Payment
Purchases are made by Pix, processed by Mercado Pago. The balance lands in your wallet when Mercado Pago confirms the payment. We don't receive or store any of your banking details.
Some packs can also be paid by credit card, on a page hosted by Mercado Pago itself: your card details never pass through Idle MU. The card price is higher than the Pix price and there is a daily spending limit.
Card chargebacks
If a card or PayPal purchase is disputed and the payment is reversed, the diamonds from that purchase are removed from the wallet, along with any referral rewards it generated. If the diamonds were already spent, the balance goes negative and the account is temporarily suspended until the team reviews the case.
If you don't recognise a charge or changed your mind, talk to us first: a refund requested through the e-mail below does not suspend your account.
Delivery
- VIP: instantly. Buying again adds to the time you still have left.
- Extended vault: instantly; the new space shows up on your next login.
- EXP boost: instantly; the game picks it up within ten seconds. The clock starts running at purchase and keeps running even while you're out of the game. Buying again adds to the time you still have left.
If the charge goes through and delivery fails, the diamonds go back to your wallet and the reason is recorded in your statement.
Withdrawal and refunds
You can withdraw from a purchase within 7 calendar days, counted from the payment, as long as the diamonds have not been spent — this is the right of withdrawal under art. 49 of the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Brazil's Consumer Protection Code). Write to [email protected] with your order number and we'll return the amount paid through the same method. After that period, or once the balance has been spent, we assess case by case.
Referral
Every account has a referral link. Anyone who creates an account with a code starts with 3 days of VIP, instead of the 1 day every new account gets. On the first purchase made by someone you referred, you receive 15% of their diamonds and they receive 10% extra — once per referred account, credited to the wallet and recorded in the statement.
The link between accounts is recorded at sign-up and doesn't change afterwards. The reward is always in diamonds: we don't convert it into money or transfer it outside the site. Creating accounts to refer yourself, or using third-party payments without authorization, cancels the rewards and may close the accounts involved.
Rules of conduct
You may not:
- use external programs to automate the game beyond what the game itself offers;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
- sell or trade accounts, items or diamonds outside the game;
- deliberately disrupt other players.
Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or closed, and the balance is unavailable for as long as the suspension lasts.
If the server shuts down
If we decide to shut down Idle MU, we will announce it on the site and on Discord at least 30 days in advance and will stop selling diamonds from the moment of the announcement.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and relevant changes are announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you have accepted it.
