Idle MU (idle.mu) is an independent MU Online Season 6 Episode 3 server that runs the original PC client inside the browser. Here are the most common questions, with short answers. To start, create an account and open the game.

Can I play MU Online without downloading anything?

Yes. On Idle MU the game opens in a Chrome, Edge or Firefox tab on a computer. There is no client, launcher or installation. The first launch downloads about 80 MB, kept by the browser; later launches open in seconds.

Which MU Online server runs in the browser?

Idle MU runs the original MU Online, Season 6 Episode 3, right in the browser. It is not a remake or a game "inspired" by MU: it is the PC client, with the usual maps, classes, items and music. See MU Online in the browser.

Is there a MU Online server with free auto farm?

Yes. On Idle MU the Idle window (Z key) makes your character hunt on its own, with skill and potions, and it keeps farming with the tab minimized. It is free for everyone. VIP adds item filters, mana and SD potions, buffs and patrol. See how to use Idle.

Can I play MU Online on a low-end PC or an old laptop?

Yes. The game picks the graphics mode your video card can handle (WebGPU or WebGL2) on its own, and takes no disk space beyond the browser cache. See MU Online for low-end PCs.

Can I play on my phone?

No. MU uses mouse and keyboard, and the game is for computers (Windows, Mac or Linux). The rest of the site, such as ranking, account and store, works on phones.

What version is the server?

Season 6 Episode 3, the classic version most MU servers still use. See MU Online Season 6.

What is the server's experience rate (EXP)?

100× for everyone and 120× with VIP. Experience goes down a little with each reset until reset 15, where it stays at 10% of the rate. The store's experience boost doubles the rate for a while.

Is there a reset?

Yes, at level 400 (380 with VIP). Your character goes back to level 1, gets 1,500 points per reset and keeps the same class. See reset.

What classes are there?

Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf, Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord. Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord can be created from the first character. Each class evolves through quests up to the 3rd class and Master Level. See class evolution.

What events does the server have?

Eight automatic events every day, including Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle and the Golden, Red Dragon and White Wizard invasions. The schedule is on events, and inside the game the Events button shows the next ones in your local time.

Is the server pay-to-win?

No. The store sells VIP, timed experience and loot boosts, and conveniences such as extra vault space and name changes. Items, jewels, levels and resets are only earned by playing.

How much does it cost to play?

Nothing. The account is free, with no subscription, and no part of the game is locked. See free MU Online.

How do I pay in the store?

By credit card or Pix (a Brazilian payment method). Your balance is credited as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Do I need to install anything or turn off my antivirus?

No. There is no executable file: the game is a web page. Your antivirus has nothing to block.

Is Idle MU official?

No. It is an independent project. MU Online is a trademark of Webzen Inc., and Idle MU has no ties to Webzen or to mobile apps with similar names.

What languages is the game in?

The site and the game are in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The server is in São Paulo, Brazil.

How do I start playing?

1. Create an account: username and password, no confirmation email.
2. Open the game in Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
3. Create your character and follow the first steps.
