Party and guild in MU Online

Party and guild in MU Online: inviting to a party, how much extra experience it gives, creating a guild at the Guild Master, guild war and alliance.

A party brings up to five players together to hunt and share experience. A guild is the permanent group, with its own name, emblem and chat.

Forming a party

  1. Stand within two steps of the other player.
  2. Press D to open the command window and click Party.
  3. Right-click the player.
  4. They get the invitation and accept.

Whoever invites becomes the leader. Press P to see the members, each one's health, and to leave the party.

  • Up to 5 players per party.
  • ~message talks to the party only.
  • /re off refuses party and trade requests; /re on accepts them again.

Party experience

Every monster a party member kills gives experience to all members near whoever killed it. Experience is split by level: the higher your level, the bigger your share.

On top of that, the party adds a bonus:

Members nearbyExperience bonus
2+5%
3+10%
4+16%
5+22%

With everyone at the same level, each member gets per kill what they would get solo, plus the bonus, and also earns from everyone else's kills. A member who is far away, on another map or off screen gets nothing from that kill.

The bonus also applies to Master Level experience.

Party with Idle

Idle hunts normally inside a party. With VIP, the Buff the party option extends your character's buff to nearby members: the Elf who buffs and the Dark Knight who kills earn more together.

Party in the third class quests

At the Barracks of Balgass entrance, through the Werewolf Quarrel in Crywolf, party members near whoever pays go in with them.

Alliance

Two guilds can form an alliance. Both guild masters stand close; one presses D, clicks Alliance and right-clicks the other, who accepts. Only the guild master can make the request.
