Jewels and economy

Where jewels come from, what each event pays and what each ticket costs.

The server economy runs on jewels. They rarely drop from monsters: they come from events. Zen matters too — potions, repairs and warps weigh on your wallet.

Jewel of Chaos only drops from monsters up to level 66.

What each event pays

eventwhat it giveswho gets it
Chaos Castlea fixed quota of jewels during the match — in Chaos Castle 6 it is 2 Bless and 2 Soul, drawn among the kills — plus a 90% chance of a random jewel for the winneryou, if you are the one left alive
Devil Square60% chance of a random jewel among the fivethe top three, and only if they finish alive
Blood Castle 1 to 61 Bless or Chaos guaranteedwhoever delivers to the Archangel, and their party
Blood Castle 7 and 81 Soul or Bless guaranteed, plus 60% chance of Chaos, Creation or Lifethe guaranteed one goes to the whole party; the 60% one only to whoever delivered
Red Dragon (invasion)25% chance of a jewel per dragon killed, among Chaos, Bless and Soulwhoever kills it
White Wizard (invasion)one guaranteed Jewel of Blesswhoever kills it

Chaos Castle accepts a single player in the match: alone, you win when you kill all the monsters and take the entire jewel quota. It opens every two hours.

The schedule is on the events page.

The tickets

Both ticket mixes require, on top of the two items, one Jewel of Chaos:

  • Blood Castle: Scroll of Archangel + Blood Bone of the same level + 1 Jewel of Chaos — 80%.
  • Devil Square: Devil's Eye + Devil's Key of the same level + 1 Jewel of Chaos — 80% up to level 4, 70% from level 5 up.

Devil's Eye, Devil's Key, Blood Bone and Scroll of Archangel drop from monsters, at 1% each, and the piece's level follows the monster's. No NPC sells them. The level ranges are in Blood Castle and Devil Square.

Chaos Castle doesn't cost a jewel: you enter with the Armor of Guardsman in your inventory, which drops from monsters level 2 and up. The entry also costs zen, from 25 thousand in the first castle to 1 million in the seventh.

What to keep

  • Chaos: every ticket uses one, and it doesn't drop from high-level monsters.
  • Creation: the rarest. It doesn't come from invasions; it comes from winning Chaos Castle and from finishing Devil Square or Blood Castle, and rarely from monsters.
  • Bless and Soul: Chaos Castle hands them out — don't overpay for them.
